As the weather begins to give a peek at spring I am thankful for all the continued support I receive from clients. This past week I have had in for auto dsetailing two BMW M3, one BMW M5 with a Ferrari 360 Modena scheduled for tomorrow. This gave rise to the 5+3=M caption.
While I will always celebrate high performance sports cars and exotics, I am well aware that it is the non exotic’s that keeps the lights on, so thanks to all who bought gift certificates for their love ones this past week. Thanks to all who choose to give the gift of my services, I am flattered.
One young lady had her stolen car recovered and brought it in for me to clean the mess up and get the funk out. It was a great challenge, handling the mold and all the mess that was created. It did not help that she saturated the car with vinegar as a cleaning aid. Well she was very thrilled to have received her car in good health again.
Special thanks to Linde' and the business they sent my way this winter. Truly that helped to keep the doors open and the lights on.

At Brian's Exclusive Detail we continue to provide consistent auto detailing service despite the cold weather that Charlotte has been experiencing. In fact one client recently told me that he choose our business because we had a fixed location. He understands the role being indoors play in achieving the final results.
Many of our more knowledgeable clients understand that these are the days when care of your vehicles paint and the cleanliness of your vehicles interior is most important.
We are thankful for all the business we receive and treat each job as if our next job depends on our current job. I would like to show off some of the results we achieved in the last few days.

I spent most of the day yesterday detailing this Honda Odyssey Minivan. The owners have had the vehicle since 2004.The interior has never been detailed neither has the exterior been polished or waxed.
The usual care was taken in vacuuming all the difficult to reach areas, followed by the pre-cleaning and a shampooing of the carpet using a hot water extracting upholstery machine. Air movers were used to speed the drying process and eliminate any lingering moisture.
Our usual process of ensuring the elimination of odors was also utilized. The exterior was also polished and waxed. The images below are a reflection of the job carried out.

I had the opportunity of providing detailing services to this gorgeous 2008 Corvette, Z06 today. The car which is usually immaculately kept was caught in the rain last Friday. While such a precision machine is made to handle well in any weather it is believed that there might have been some salt on the road. This possibility created an opportunity for me to spend some time with this bad boy, lending some TLC.
The paint was hand wash with a premium car wash solution using a microfiber wash mitt and towel dried. Wheels and fender wells was cleaned using a non acidic wheel cleaner. Interior vacuumed and vents cleaned. Seats, dash and console were wiped carefully with an appropriate product. Glass was cleaned on both the interior and the exterior. The painted surfaces inclusive of the wheels were treated to an application of spray wax. Below are the images.

It is not uncommon for my customers to change their cars, what is uncommon is for the car to change owner and remain under my care. That is exactly what has occurred with this competition BMW M3 seen in the images below.
This vehicle changed ownership recently and came in for a basic clean up service, while explaining to the client what my thoughts were on the car overall and pointing out to him some of my concerns. He decided to have the car come in for to polishing of the paint.
I was careful to inform him that I do not believe in aggressive polishing as is often practiced in our industry, but would rather use gentle polishes over time to correct or minimize any defects that may exist with the paint. I was also careful to acknowledge what I considered limitations in terms of what I could achieve.
While the exterior surfaces were our primary concern, we both acknowledge that the leather was in need of conditioning. Well after polishing the paint with a random orbital polisher, two layers of a premium sealant was then applied by hand. The results are reflected in the images below.
